A small group of locals set an ambitious target of 50 boxes of treats and essentials for children in need located in more than a hundred poor and war-torn countries through Operation Christmas Child.
The Rainbow Beach community has packaged and sent 56 boxes filled with toys, toiletries, school supplies, and fun gifts for dispatch in October to bring joy to children at Christmas. We humbly asked for help from our community and were overwhelmed with the support of our kind and generous locals.
Thank you to those who packaged up a box, provided items for inclusion, donated money to cover shipping costs, or gave of their time to pack the boxes. We are so grateful for your contributions.
Please be assured that every donation has been gratefully received and is on its way to make a child happy at Christmas.
