Simply Classical Concert

Simply Classical Concert programme is called "Music Wonderland", to be held in the Australian Institute of Country Music, Channon Street, Gympie on Sunday 24th November at 2pm.

• music from the Nutcracker Suite Ballet by Tchaikovsky with a dancer in costume of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
• music and video shown of "The Snowman".
• excerpts from the children's opera "Hansel & Gretel" by Engelbert Humperdink.
• songs from the opera "The Magic Flute"  by Mozart sung by two professionals, possibly in costume.
• two pieces from "Peer Gynt Suite" by Grieg, a Norwegian composer.  One played on violin and the other on Flute with a dancer improvising.
• refreshments served after the concert and a gold coin donation would be appreciated.
• adults $12 and children 6years and over $5.
