Skate and Relate is gearing up for Round 2, bringing even more energy, support and positive youth engagement to local skate parks - just in time for the school holidays.
Skate and Relate is gearing up for Round 2, bringing even more energy, support and positive youth engagement to local skate parks.
Delivered by Chiggy’s Skateboarding, the program aims to activate community spaces and provide safe environments where young people can connect, feel supported, and build confidence through skateboarding.
This exciting initiative features learn-to-skate workshops, one-on-one and group coaching, live demonstrations, music, giveaways, food, and more. All activities are led by three professional skateboard coaches with extensive experience working with youth.
Designed specifically for vulnerable young people under 17, the program is proudly supported by the Gympie Police Crime Prevention Unit and Tin Can Bay Police.
Round 2 of Skate and Relate will hit two locations just in time for the school holidays:
- Cooloola Cove – Monday 15 December 2025
- Tin Can Bay – Tuesday 16 December 2025
Each location will host two workshops per day:
- 10:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged. To secure a spot, email hello@chiggysskateboarding.com.au. Walk-ins are welcome on the day, subject to availability.
Please note: All participants must be registered online, and waivers must be completed by an adult before joining the activities.
