Surf club deck resumes building

A supply issue has delayed the deck progress at the Rainbow Beach Surf Club. The deck roof is the next stage, followed by the new entry and kiosk.

As supply issues continue, no completion date is forthcoming yet - but everyone is looking forward to that first beverage in the new outdoor area!

In the meantime, volunteer surf lifesavers will celebrate at the Annual Dinner and Awards Evening on June 26, at the Surf Club.

Work happens behind the scenes year round to prepare for the next season and to guide the Supporters Club. The club is very grateful to the Rainbow Beach RSL Sub Branch for their generous donation of $287 towards the Nippers, proceeds from the ANZAC Day Breakfast.
