What is happening with the beach stairs?
After consultation with Council, RBCT Secretary Tony Stewart has been advised the problem with the new stairway is not at the base.
The rock they are mounted on has a large crack in it. A geothermal team was here last week, and I should be advised by the end of this week what the future holds.
As for a walkway to Carlo Point, Tony will also be advised about a meeting with all concerned businesses and Council as to further action.
