Studio Trails Celebrates 10 Years

The Gympie Region’s much-loved Studio Trails returns to the Cooloola Coast on the weekend of 4-5 July, marking its 10th year and offering locals the chance to support creatives and discover the incredible artistic talent across our region.

Rainbow Beach: Locals can step inside the studio of Libby McKenzie at Rainbow Sea Resort, where her acrylic works are inspired by the coastline, surrounding national parks and native wildlife.

Libby will also offer live art demonstrations and insights into her creative process from her studio overlooking Rainbow Beach.

Tin Can Bay: The Tin Can Bay Community and Men’s Shed will showcase local artisans demonstrating and selling handmade works including mosaics, candles, woodworking and jewellery, alongside a nursery space and refreshments.

Jill of the Witches Hat will open her tropical home gallery, featuring vibrant fabrics, fashion and home décor pieces created over decades of artistic practice.

The Cooloola Coast Art Group at Tuncunba Hall will welcome guests to browse artworks from talented local artists working across a range of mediums.

Cooloola Cove: In Cooloola Cove, Julie-Ann Barker will open her studio beside Marion Creek, where her mixed-media works explore the textures and beauty of the natural environment surrounding the Cooloola Coast.

Robyn Shaw’s garden studio will also offer visitors the chance to experience her landscape-inspired paintings drawn from nature and outdoor life.
