Excitement is building along the coast as humpback whale season approaches, bringing one of nature's most spectacular migrations back to local waters.

As thousands of humpback whales begin their annual journey along the Queensland coastline, ocean lovers will have a new way to experience the action, with Wolf Rock Dive centre preparing to launch its new Adventure Whale Safaris as soon as the whales arrive.

The tours promise an unforgettable offshore experience, giving visitors the chance to witness these majestic marine giants in their natural environment.

From breaching displays to tail slaps and close encounters in open water, the season is expected to draw locals and visitors alike eager to experience whale migration season first hand.

Operators remind guests that Adventure Whale Safaris are designed for active participants and are not suitable for children under 10 or older guests with mobility limitations due to the offshore conditions and adventurous nature of the experience. However, fair weather days will be more accessible for all.

Adding to the marine tour offerings, Wolf Rock Dive are running a Dolphin water taxi to Barnacles Dolphin feeding centre every Tuesday and Thursday.

Passengers can enjoy a scenic boat trip across to Norman Point from Carlo Point where they can experience the much-loved local dolphin feeding attraction.

Winter early afternoon Sunset tours cruising the sandy straights are also now operating, Enjoy watching the sun set from the water with a BYO beverage.

With humpback whales on their way and marine adventures ready to launch, locals are encouraged to keep an eye on conditions and our Facebook page and prepare for an exciting winter season on the water.
