Community Comes Together for Successful Mother’s Day Morning Tea
Beach + Bay Community Pantry
The team at Beach & Bay Community Pantry is celebrating the success of its recent free Mother’s Day Morning Tea, which brought together local mothers, grandmothers, carers, and families for a special morning of connection, appreciation, and community spirit.
Held as a way to give back to local women in the community, the event welcomed guests with a delicious morning tea, fun activities, lucky door prizes, and plenty of laughter and conversation.
Families were able to enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere while taking time to recognise the important role mothers and carers play every day.
The event was made possible through the generosity of local businesses, volunteers, and community members who donated prizes, supplies, and their time to help create a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Organisers from Beach & Bay Community Pantry said the morning was a wonderful reminder of how powerful community support can be, especially during times when many families are doing it tough.
“We wanted to create a space where mums and carers could feel appreciated, supported, and celebrated,” a spokesperson said.
“Seeing so many smiling faces and families enjoying themselves made all the hard work worthwhile.”
The community pantry continues to support local families through food relief, specialised hampers, children’s birthday hampers, baby hampers, and other outreach initiatives aimed at helping those in need across the community.
The team extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make the Mother’s Day Morning Tea such a meaningful and successful event.
