The Beach + Bay Community Pantry continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families, celebrating a season of generosity while preparing for exciting upcoming events that bring the community together.
In the lead-up to Easter, the pantry successfully distributed many thoughtfully prepared Easter hampers to families doing it tough. Packed with essential items and seasonal treats, the hampers brought both practical support and a sense of joy to recipients across the community.
Alongside the Easter initiative, the pantry has also seen great success with its birthday hampers. These special hampers, created to ensure every child can feel celebrated on their birthday, have brought smiles to many young faces.
Building on this momentum, the pantry is now preparing to host fundraising events, inviting locals to come along and support a great cause. Funds raised will go directly towards sustaining the pantry’s services and expanding its ability to provide food and specialised hampers to those in need.
In addition, the pantry is proud to announce an upcoming free Mother’s Day morning tea, designed as a heartfelt way to give back to the community. The event will offer a welcoming space for mothers and caregivers to relax, connect, and feel appreciated.
With refreshments and a warm atmosphere, it promises to be a special occasion honouring the important role women play in families and the wider community.
