What a month April was. Our April 'Double Points' Club Rounds were well attended with over 50 competitors!

We had some swell, sunshine and stoke. The transition to online nominations and scoring with Live Heats went smoothly. Big thanks to everyone who got this off the ground.

It's truly amazing to reflect on our initial goal of creating an active and thriving club and watching it go from strength to strength. To have 50+ competing monthly is amazing.

We thank our wider community for supporting us and our surf community, who support the club by competing, cooking BBQs, fundraising, donating, setting up, and packing down.

We really appreciate those extra special folk who have stepped into their volunteer roles with such good energy and fresh ideas. 2026 is going to be a good one!

Our dedicated Fundraising Coordinator, Loz is due a good rest after our month at the Sports Club. Thank you to the Sports Club for the opportunity to raise funds and to our members who came down to help out.

Kasey-Cruze has found his calling as an MC, and had lots of fun calling out ticket numbers!

Loz has organised a Mother's Day Raffle to be drawn at our Local's BBQ at the Hotel on Friday, 8 May. The Mother's Day Hamper is worth over $400, proudly supported by many local, family-run businesses.

From coffee to cash to clothing to a photography session, you don't want to miss out on this one. Tickets are on sale, $2 each.

Catch us at our May Club Rounds and Local's BBQ or enquire through our Facebook page for ticket sales. Funds raised will go toward our new rashies.

President Bermo has been in contact with Agnes Water Boardriders Club and we are getting organised for our upcoming event in Agnes Water.

This is an exciting opportunity for both Clubs to forge a relationship to support future events, it's especially exciting for our groms who get a chance to step outside their comfort zones and further develop surfing skills.
